Microsoft Exchange Distribution List User update

This tool was written to aid the migration of Microsoft Exchange users to Lotus Notes. The application extracted the ditribution list membership for Microsoft Exchange users. It then added the user using the Notes name back to the distribution list. This program enabled the mass migration of distribution list membership from Exchange to Notes, without the need for the user to manually change any list membership.

Microsoft Outlook message converter

This application allows the user to specify local and network disks to search for Microsoft Outlook '.msg' saved emails. It will then covert the mail message to rtf. This tool was written to aid the migration of Microsoft Exchange users to Lotus Notes.

Email metrics and tracking system

Metrics software reads data from a number of Tumbleweed MMS servers and produces management reports as a cluster and by server. It details the number of inbound and outbound email, virus, executables and spam over a user specified period. This enables the operations department to ensure that the email infrastructure is operating as defined by company policy.

Tracking software reads data from a number of Tumbleweed MMS servers looking for email specified by the users. This application is mainly used to identify a server with a quarantined executable that is to be released. It can also show the routing of email through an MMS server, useful when developing content filter rulesets.

Radar display system

Component X Software was commissioned to develop a graphical replay system to simulate radar coverage over the North Atlantic. Flight information is read from data files along with meteorological data. Aircraft flight profiles can then be viewed and compared to the great circle paths along with the interaction of the weather systems on the profile.

Document display rendering control

It supports dynamic word wrapping, embedded pictures, popups and hyperlinks, along with all the normal display features (underline, text emphasis, superscript, subscript, fonts etc). The control was developed to have a small memory foot print and low memory overhead as it is required to run on 'low specification' computers running Microsoft Windows 3.1 as well Microsoft Windows NT based systems
